报告人介绍Igor Podlubny received the MSc in applied mathematics from Odessa State University, Odessa, Ukraine (former USSR), in 1983, the CSc (=Ph.D.) in differential equations and mathematical physics from Odessa State University, Odessa, Ukraine (former USSR), in 1989, the RNDr in applied mathematics from the Comenius University, Bratislava, in 1990, and the DrSc (advanced or higher doctorate) in applied mathematics from Slovak Technical University, in 2010. He was awarded the title of University Professor by the President of the Slovak Republic in 2001.  He is currently a professor of process control, BERG Faculty, Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia. His interests include applied mathematics, fractional calculus, differential equations, control theory, mathematical modeling. He is the member of the editorial board of the international journal Fractional Calculus and Applied Analysis. He was the editor-in-chief of Acta Montanistica Slovaca (2010-2014), the associate editor of Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications (2005-2009) and Applied Mathematics and Computation (2007-2009). He was the recipient of the Scientist of the Year in Slovakia, in 2012, the honorary diploma at the 7th annual ceremony "Scientist of the Year in the Slovak Republic" under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, the Slovak Academy of Sciences, and the Union of the Slovak Scientific and Technical Societies both in 2003 and 2006, and the Werner von Siemens Excellence Award for research in 2002. Prof. Podlubny is one of the most international authoritative scholars in the fractional calculus field and makes outstanding contributions to the development of fractional control theory. His book “Fractional Differential Equations” has been cited nearly 16000. Especially the fractional order PI D controller he first proposed has a landmark significance.
